Quality Mental Healthcare.
Jennifer Grubb (she/her)
LPC, EMDR-Tr, QTAP-Candidate
I earned my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2012, and since then, I have been providing mental health services in various capacities. As a mental health provider, my work with clients and their families has informed my understanding that life’s emotional journey does not always offer us a clear path to follow. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults to learn the skills necessary to navigate mental health challenges, relational challenges, gender and sexuality issues, and the complicated challenges that are present around transitions, including in times of crisis. I am committed to helping clients find adaptive ways to gain self-awareness, manage stressors, increase self-reliance, and move toward improved well-being.
An affirming approach
“You have the freedom to be yourself, your true self, here and now, and nothing can stand in your way.”
- RICHARD BACH, Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Every person, regardless of identity, deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I am trained in Culturally Relevant and Affirming LGBTQ+ Behavioral Health Care, and I am passionate about working with people who identify as queer and as parts of other historically excluded communities.
